Biography

Brad and his BikeI am Brad Payne and I want to welcome you to my official web site. I am a singer songwriter and have traveled around America writing about things I see and people I meet. I have played from the streets of New Orleans and the subways of Boston all the way to opening up for such bands as Fog Hat and the Toy Caldwell band, even the Outlaws with a band I played with on the east coast. This road has been long and has taken me from one coast to the other. I have played in biker bars in Texas and Virginia to the coffee houses of Phoenix. I spent the last few years touring a circuit of clubs called Chelsea St. Pub. It has taken me from Louisiana through to Colorado. I live in an rv with my faithful dog Gunner, the best friend and person I have ever met. I see the working man's America, and that is my inspiration. I am living my childhood dream, this is all I have ever wanted to do. Sometimes this is a blessing and sometimes a curse, but it is a gift and I am grateful. I am not by any means the last of a dying breed, but it seems like we are getting there. I play the acoustic guitar and I sing from my soul. This is the world thru my eyes.
